These exclusivity agreements were honored even after the acquisition was complete, meaning Bethesda-published games likeDeathloopandGhostwire: Tokyowere exclusive to PlayStation consoles for an entire year after their release.Ghostwire: Tokyo’s PS5 exclusivity window just came up, and so it’s now making its way to Xbox viaXbox Game Pass.

One of the main benefits of being signed up for an Xbox Game Pass subscription is the ability to play first-party games on the very day that they release. WhileGhostwire: Tokyowas previously released for PS5, this marks its debut on Xbox, and so it could still be considered a day one game. The catch is thatGhostwire: Tokyois a next-gen only game, meaning those still playing on Xbox One that have yet to upgrade will need to get an Xbox Series X or S console to play it.
