Xbox Game Pass Ultimate’s YouTube Premium Trial Is Only Available to New Users
The latest freebie to reach the service arrives in the form of three months' worth of YouTube Premium. YouTube’s subscription is priced at $13.99 per month or $139.99 annually, placing the value of this perk at between $35 and $42. However, there’s one major catch in that the three-month membership is classified as a trial, meaning it’s only available to new users. Those with existing subscriptions cannot take advantage of the offer, and neither can anyone who previously activated a YouTube Premium trial on their Google account. This even goes for trials of overlapping and discontinued services, such as YouTube Music Premium and Google Play Music.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks Expiring Soon
This freebie adds to the already extensive list ofperks that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate introduced in March 2024. Of those, the ones closest to expiring is the PitCoin Reward pack forF1 23, which is only available to claim until April 1. Meanwhile, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have until April 2 to claim theApex LegendsCharm Bonanza weapon and the March monthly member bonus forPhantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis, which comprises six Scape Dolls for reviving teammates and weapon upgrade materials in the form of 50 Photon Chunks. A 30-day free trial of Paramount+ is also on offer until April 7.
Although many of the perks that Microsoft bundles with its service are inherently tied to one’s subscription, that isn’t always the case. The recently introducedPersona 3 ReloadExpansion Pass is one such example of anXbox Game Pass Ultimate perk that turned out better than expected, as it’s free to keep forever after being claimed.
