Suffering from a severe lack of modes and maps at launch,Halo Infinite’s live-service approachwas fairly lackluster, though recent months have shown that 343 is trying to turn things back around. With that in mind, there’s a chance that February 2024 could end up being one of the best months inHalo Infinitehistory if all the franchise’s puzzle pieces come together.
February 2024 Could Be Huge for Halo Fans
Halo Season 2 Premieres in February
After a decade and a half of failed live-action projects,aHaloTV showfinally made it to air in March 2022, and to many fans, it wasn’t exactly worth the wait. With some major changes to the inherent lore ofHalo’s universe and overarching story, some disappointing character designs, and some truly bizarre plot and character choices, the first season of the Paramount+Haloshow didn’t go down well with most fans. Still, it wasn’t all bad, with its action scenes being a standout.
Despite the backlash, Paramount+ greenlit a secondHaloseason before the first even came out, and now fans are just weeks away from seeing its first episodes. While it’s definitely too soon to judge, it does seem as thoughHaloSeason 2 is trying to steer a bit more towards the usualHaloexperience that fans know and love, with this season seemingly revolving around the pivotalFall of Reach. Based on its trailers,HaloSeason 2 might be giving fans exactly what they want in terms of story and action set pieces, with multiple shots in the trailers putting a fresh spin on iconic in-game moments, particularly fromHalo Reach.
Premiering on July 15, 2025,HaloSeason 2 on Paramount+could be the subject of a rare redemption arc, and in that specific case, it seems likely that 343 Industries would want to capitalize on the show’s newfound success by doing some form of crossover. While this probably wouldn’t be an entire Season of content themed around theHaloshow, a few cosmetics based on the show’s unique designs could be fun to see inHalo Infinite.
Halo Infinite Season 6 Is Set to Begin in February
Halo’s second season isn’t the only piece ofHalocontent fans can look forward to in February 2024. According toHalo Infinite’s in-game countdown,Halo InfiniteSeason 5 is set to end on January 30, which presumably means that Season 6 will follow closely behind it. This would mean thatHalo Infinite’s sixth Seasonwould launch either on January 31 or July 16, 2025. Regardless,Halo Infinite’s new Season will really hit its stride in early February, and while there’s no confirmed theme yet or confirmation of any content set to come to the game, it should still be exciting for fans ofHalo Infinite, with 343 proving that the game still has plenty to offer.
