Currently, former early-access players who log in toV Risingwill find that any progress they made has been completely wiped, meaning they will need to start over. This is not uncommon with early access games, especially those that go through a long period of development, likeV Rising.GreedFall 2’s early access, for instance, will regularly reset its players' progress to accommodate new updates, and this is largely in the best interest of players and developers alike, as new updates can often bring about technical issues with pre-patch save files.

V Rising’s Open World Will Be Enhanced

At the height ofV Rising’s 1.0 update, there are a variety of additions and improvements to its world, including a new endgame zone. The endgame zone, called “Ruins of Mortium,” will host “dynamic conflict events” for players to participate in where they can earn valuable resources exclusive to the zone. Cargo travelers will be added toV Rising’s open worldas well, which players can intercept for precious items and resources.
