InValheim, players must gather materials to upgrade their homes, their armor, and their weapons. Later in the game, players get the option to make an Artisan table, but is it worth making?
Making an Artisan Table
In order to make a Artisan Table, players must first have conquered theboss of the Mountain Biome inValheimcalled Moder. She is a frosty dragon that breathes ice at players, freezing them in place and doing massive damage. But once players have defeated her, they will get two things: the Moder trophy head to hang in the spawning circle at the center of the map, and something called a Dragon Tear.

Two of these Dragon Tears are needed to make the Artisan Table; thankfully, Moder will drop ten of them each time she is defeated. Players will also need ten basic wood. NoValheimCore Woodor Fine Wood needed for this table. Once it is completed, players will then have a variety of new things to build for their homes.
What to Make with the Artisan Table
There are three recipes that open up for players once they have created an Artisan Table: a Spinning wheel, a Windmill, and a Blast furnace. Building each of these also opens up even more recipes for players to make new materials for themselves. These also open up the best food recipes inValheim,as well.
Spinning Wheel
The spinning wheel is used to create Linen. Players can put flax into the wheel, and it will churn out linen fabrics that are used in a variety of armor, weapons, and tools. With flax made into linen, which can be found in the Plains, players can then make:
Windmill
The windmill is mainly used to make Barley flour out of Barely, which can only be grown in the Plains. While windmills only operate when the wind is blowing, the flour that players get from it is well-worth any effort needed to build one. With Barley flour, players can make:
Blast Furnace
Similar to the smelter that can smelt copper, tin, andiron inValheim, players can make the blast furnace to smelt Blackmetal and Flametal. It is also fueled by coal, just like the regular smelter. While Blackmetal can be used to make things like the Blackmetal atgeir, axe, knife, and sword, Flametal, which can only be mined in the Ashlands, does not have a use in the game as of the current version. The Ashlands are going to be future content inValheimjust like the Deep Northand Mistlands, but they are not yet completed at the time of this writing.
