Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionwas announced at the PlayStation Showcase event in September 2021. This bundle includesremastered versions ofUncharted 4: A Thief’s EndandUncharted: The Lost Legacy, and is scheduled to release on PS5 on July 20, 2025.
TheLegacy of Thieves Collectionis also set to launch on PC later this year and the port is being handled by Iron Galaxy. This collection marksUncharted’s debut on PC, although the original trilogy remains exclusive to PlayStation consoles. Sony has been releasing older PS4 games on PC, allowing a brand-new set of players to experience marquee PlayStation exclusives. A new trailer forUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionhas just been uploaded on YouTube, featuring gameplay footage from the PS5 remasters.
The launch trailer forUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionconsists of a mix of gameplay and in-game cinematics. It aims to set up the story for both games and also shows footage from the thrilling set-pieces. Some parts of the trailer can spoil important sections from these games, so users planning to play them for the first time should consider avoiding it.
Anyone who owns eitherUncharted 4: A Thief’s EndorUncharted: The Lost Legacywill be able toupgrade to theLegacy of Thieves Collectionfor $10. Both physical, as well as digital versions, are eligible for this offer. Unfortunately, theLegacy of Thieves Collectiondoes not come with the multiplayer component ofUncharted 4.
Users can also choose between various graphical modes on PS5. Fidelity Mode will run at native 4K with a 30fps target, while Performance Mode will run 60fps, with the image being upscaled from a base resolution of 1440p.Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionalso comes with a Performance+ Mode, which runs at 120fps at 1080p. Additionally, it will launch with support for 3D audio, haptic feedback, and adaptive triggers.
It seems like Sony’s games are doing well on PC, particularly on Steam. The recently released port ofGod of Warhad over 73,000 active players, and it can be frequently seen near the top of Steam’s Top Sellers list. Similarly, the launch ofHorizon Zero Dawnwas considered, andDays Gonealso managed to sell a million copies on PC. It seems like Sony’s strategy of releasing older games on PC will further increase the demand for a PS5, which remains difficult to find even after a year since its release.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collectionis set to release on January 28 on PS5 and later in 2022 on PC.
