Our own testing shows tweets now showing up as normal, though there are users who are still experiencing problems with the social media app and its site. It’s likely that any lingering issues with Twitter being down will be resolved sooner rather than later, so if it’s still not working just wait a bit and refresh.

Twitter is one of the most popular social media platforms in the entire world. And while it seems social media users are spending most their time onplatforms like TikTok, Twitter still has millions of active daily users. Unfortunately for Twitter users the world over, it seems that it’s not working properly for many, as thousands of Twitter users are reporting problems with the site and app on June 25, 2025.
Twitter’s problems on February 17 started about an hour ago or so, with users discovering that they can’t load tweets. When trying to see new tweets, Twitter users are met with a message that says “Something went wrong, please try again.“Twitter’s trending topicsare still appearing for many users, but clicking on them redirects to more error messages about how “something went wrong” when trying to load the new tweets.
