1Learn The Boss Fights

Pantheon Is Challenging, So Brush Up On The Mechanics

Some boss fights in the Pantheon raid gauntlet are quite challenging and have complicated mechanics or are generally difficult fights, such as Riven of a Thousand Voices or Rhulk. Defeating certain bosses is necessary to complete theDivine Weaponry quest, which grants players the choice between certain Raid Exotics. Because of this, players should look to become confident with the mechanics of each boss fight in the Pantheon.

At the higher difficulties, players will be -20 Power Level, making it quite the challenge. This means there is no room for error with the mechanics, so players should perhaps look to complete these encounters in their specific raids or find a guide on how to complete them.

2Bring A Variety Of Loadouts

The Pantheon Varies In Bosses, Demanding Different Strategies

Pantheon has various bosses, all of which demand different types of damage strategies. Atraks-1 demands burst damage, so weapons such as Parasite are best. Meanwhile, Rhulk is more of an endurance fight, demanding greater total damage rather than burst damage. This means that players will need to have severalsolid DPS loadoutsin their arsenal before taking on the Pantheon.

There are a number of powerful DPS weapons available at the moment, especially with the release of Into the Light. One example is the infamousEdge Transit Grenade Launcher, which can come with incredibly powerful perks and is the go-to damage option for many players right now.

3Be Aware Of The New Mechanics

The New Features In Pantheon Can Cause Some Problems

Each fight in the Pantheon raid gauntlet has a new “mechanic.” While these new features aren’t exactly game-changers, they can cause some issues. One example of a very disruptive addition is the fire tornadoes thatZo’aurc, the Explicator of Planets, summons on each of the planet’s plates, dealing immense damage. On top of that, a Tormentor spawns upon successfully indexing the planets, making things much harder for the fireteam.

To combat this, players should keep an eye out for additional features during key moments in the fight, as these seem to be the most altered areas of each encounter. For example, Golgoroth now causes two players to be infused with Unstable Light, making the mechanic even more dangerous.

4Find A Fireteam

LFG Teammates Can Be Inconsistent

Everyone knows that raids require multiple players, but not everyone has access to a group of people they consistently raid with. This means some have to resort to using LFG services or thein-game Fireteam Finder. While this isn’t ideal, it is sometimes a must, as completing The Pantheon will be near impossible for the average player without a fireteam of six.

However, both the in-game Fireteam Finder and LFG services can be subject to luck, and many players are unsure of what to do, making The Pantheon much harder than it needs to be. However, coming across a good group of players can happen. If this does occur, try to arrange to do future Pantheon difficulties with them or join one of their clans to avoid the randomness of LFG.

5Complete The Time Trial Challenges

Completing These Challenges Nets Bountiful Rewards

Pantheon offers a unique challenge. Each encounter has a specific time trial that players can complete, allowing them to enjoy the rewards of Adept Raid Weapons by claiming specific triumphs related to the time trial itself.

Some encounters are harder to complete in time than others. For example, the Caretaker and Zo’Aurc demand that players defeat them in two phases. Meanwhile, bosses like Atraks are much easier thanks to their lower health pools. However, players should look to complete these challenges as the Adept weapons that drop often come with solid rolls.
