Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsplayers have spent the last week progressing through the looter-shooter, getting acquainted with its many progression systems. Now that players are familiar withTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, they’re starting to key into certain ways that Gearbox could improve the game. One topic that has come up surprisingly frequently isTiny Tina’s Wonderlands' collectible Lucky Dice. While players enjoy searching for dice, they’re also hoping Gearbox can make a quality-of-life change to help them out.

The way it works right now,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsplayers are currently unable to keep track of theirLucky Dicecollection in any meaningful way. Players will stumble onto a D20, pick it up, and then there will be no evidence of their passing afterward. As a result,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsplayers are left wondering whether they’ve meaningfully explored certain areas or not. It makes it difficult to want to go back and collect dice that may have been missed.

What players are asking for from Gearbox won’t meaningfully change the dice hunt. It will just help with general tracking.Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsplayers would like forGearboxto put an icon on the map after a player picks up one of the collectible dice. That way, players know where they’ve been and can focus on other areas to explore. Plus, since it would only appear after being collected, it wouldn’t otherwise change the experience of searching for them.

While this is one popular idea for improvingTiny Tina’s Wonderlands' hunt for dice, the broader message from the community is that the current way it works isn’t great. Players really just want improvements to the system, regardless of what those improvements might be. More aggressive changes like indications of where dice might be or maps that can be bought from NPCs would likely be just as welcome. Players are just finding it frustrating to hunt for dice. It feels like busywork.

There may be some significant criticism surrounding the dice inTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, but the criticism is also coming from a place of interest. If the dice inTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsweren’t interesting, players would just ignore them. Instead, players want to hunt them down. That the Lucky Dice grant increasedLoot Luck and gear dropsmakes them special.

Gearbox istrying a lot of new things inTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, it’s clear. Some of the ideas are interesting, but perhaps not as polished as they could be. The Lucky Dice, for example, aren’t even hidden in particularly interesting ways. They were spread almost haphazardly. Gearbox will hopefully make them a more exciting feature in future projects, while improving the feature now with an upcoming patch.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
