In the Manage Households menu, players will have to select the household of the Sim that they’d like to move. Next, there’s a button with two arrows pointing in opposite directions, hovering over it will say “transfer Sims between households,” that’s where they’ll have to click. This will open the Household Split and Merge menu.

Eight is the maximum amount of Sims that can live in a certain household, regardless of the size of the lot. If the household is already full none of the options above will work. The only way to work around this is to download specific mods to increase household restrictions - however, doing this can cause the game to delete Sims on its own when entering Create-a-Sim or editing households over the official restriction limit.

Once MCCC is running properly, gamers have several actions they can take by pressing a specific and even more options if they select an in-game computer or by writing in the commands text bar.

To add a Sim to a household with MCCC,players have to open the commands text bar and then write “sim_move” followed by the Sim’s first and last name. Then, a menu would appear on the screen asking the player if they’d like to move him into the active household or into another household instead.

With MCCC, players can also increase the maximum size of the households in the game. To do this, they must click a computer, choose the “MC Command Center” option, then select “Gameplay Settings”, followed by “Maximum Household Size”.
