There are a couple of kinds of collectibles inThe Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me. One of these is called the obol, and these are silver coins with different values. There is the one-obol, which has a picture of a bear and one pip on it. The two-obol coin has two dots on it and a picture of a bird. The five-obol and ten-obol coins are much rarer, and they will all have a skull on their face. Players will need to collect 200 total obol to get the achievement inThe Devil in Me.While this isn’t an easy feat, it’s certainly not impossible, especially with a little help.

Obol Location 1: The Lighthouse
When Mark and Charlie head to the lighthouse to get some sweeping footage of the island, they will come across a locked gate. Players can make their way around the gate and into the yard surrounding the lighthouse. There will be a lockbox on the ground, and Charlie will be able to pick the lock on it. Use the item in his inventory, then pick the lock and get the coin from the box.
Obol Location 2: Kate’s Hike
When Kate, played byJessie Buckley inThe Devil in Me, pretends to be injured to take more of a look around the island, she and Jamie will discover all sorts of interesting items. This includes two of the obol coins that players will want to collect. Take a look at the closed gate after the shoe. This is the location of the first.
Obol Location 3: Kate’s Hike 2
In thefinal chapter of season one ofthe Dark Pictures, Kate and Jamie jump over the train car, and they will come across the second obol in this location. Jump over the pipe, then look to the right. The obol will be on the ground.
Obol Location 4: Kate’s Hike 3
There is yet another on the ground near the first of threeThe Devil in Meelectrical puzzles. Head up the ladder, then jump across to the ledge. Look to the right; there will be a step-up to climb. Climb it, then look to the right. The coin will be on the ground.
Obol Location 5: Cigarettes
Playing as Charlie, he and Erin will walk around in search of the bar and some cigarettes. Players will leave Charlie’s room and then head down the corridors in this. Turn left when Erin goes to the right, and there will be a coin at the dead end. This is beforeCharlie is looking for the coins for the cigarette machine in the bar.
Obol Location 6: Scouting
When Mark and Kate are off on their own, players will need to keep a keen out for obols. There will be at least two here, and this first one is a 5-obol piece. Players will find it in the broken-down library, where Mark will need to move shelves around. In the room where he needs to knock down the ladder, look in the corners; one of them will hold this silver coin.

Obol Location 7: Staff Only
After opening up the Balcony area with the key from the library, Mark will be able to interact with some H.H. Holmes artifacts. Before he does, verify to find the obol that is hiding near one of the walls in thispsychological horror game.
Obol Location 8: Finding the Fusebox
As Jamie, when she is looking for the fusebox to fix after tripping the power, players can head upstairs. There isn’t much up there except an obol coin in the hallway in this 6-hour-long horror game.
Obol Location 9: Blood Trail
When Jamie and Charlie are following the trail of blood, they will come to a branching hallway. They can pick right or left. Go right first and check out the FBI memo at the end of this hall. On the way back, there will be an obol on the floor to Charlie’s right near a radiator.
Obol Location 10: Separated
After the wall closes between Charlie and Kate, players will be Jamie again,the Devil in Mecharacter that can kiss Erin. Head downstairs to investigate the kid’s voice. At the bottom of the stairs, look behind Jamie. There will be an obol under the stairwell by the pile of furniture.
