Raid Shadow Legendsis a modern take on the traditional MMORPG. Tasks in the game are split into challenges and quests, but this is in name only. Quests and challenges simply involve the player completing certain goals. The gameplay revolves around unlocking, training, and skilling up champions to build teams.

TheDiablofranchise needs no introduction. It has been one of the most popular action RPG franchises going back to 1997.Diablo Immortalbrings a similar game experience to the Android platform. The timeline for the game fits somewhere in betweenDiablo 2andDiablo 3.
Players can choose from the usual classes of Blood Knight, Crusader, Hunter, Necromancer, Demon, Wizard, and Barbarian. Featuring isometric graphics following the usual top-down approach, this free-to-play game has been lauded as a great new edition to the franchise, that is not simply a cut-down mobile game, but a full-blown action RPG in its own right.

This is a cross-platform action role-playing game that was released in 2021. It has full cross-play as well.Genshin Impactis operated as a live service game and gets plenty of content updates and feature patches. With its open-world playing style and interesting action-based way of handling combat, it works great on smaller Chromebooks with a touch screen.
During combat, the player can easily swap between characters, and fire off skills and attacks. Each character has their skills, stats, and gear. Much of the gameplay revolves around training and equipping these characters, ready for combat. Overall, this is a fantastic anime RPG that aficionados of anime will no doubt enjoy.

3Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition

BioWare has been pretty smart in realizing many of its older titles could be easily converted to mobile platforms and limited hardware such as a Chromebook. TheBaldur’s Gatefranchise has been one of the most successful ones for BioWare, so bringing the original Baldur’s Gate back as an enhanced edition must have been a no-brainer.
Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Editionbrings the full, original game to mobile, but in a format that is more easily consumed by small devices with touchscreen input. Players who have followed the franchise might like to try this version, as it can be played anywhere.

Yet another BioWare game that has been reworked to perform well on Android.Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republictakes a place high on this list because it is widely recognized as being one of the best action RPG games of all time. And of course, because it’sStar Wars.
This is the full game, and very little has been changed for the newer Android version. The display is handled a little differently simply because of the size restraints, and the control scheme has been modified for touchscreen control. For Star Wars fans, whether they played the original version ofStar Wars: Knights of the Old Republicor not, this is a fantastic game to install on their mobile devices.

Stardew Valleyis anindie RPGthat was developed by a single person, over some 4.5 years. Anecdotally, the developers stated that they hated the game just before release and were convinced it would flop, and they had wasted years of development time. Of course, this isn’t what happened at all.Stardew Valleyhas been one of the most successful indie RPGs of all time.
The Android version ofStardew Valleyis exactly the same as the desktop version. It was developed from the ground up to be a fully cross-platform game. This means it works very well on a Chromebook under Android. This pixel art graphical RPG has some incredible depth, with great writing and fun gameplay.
