Benzene (C6Hn) is an Inorganic gas inStarfield. Players need this mineral to complete Pharmaceutical Research and some Outpost Structures—such as Water Extractor. However, as a toxic gaseous resource, Benzene can become quite a tricky resource to collect. How to Collect Benzene
As with most gaseous resources, Benzene can be acquired by interacting with active C6Hn vents. However, players can alsocollect it through miningand by purchasing it from vendors.
Harvest a Benzene Vent
Benzene vents are piles of rocks that emit a dark gas. On the scanner, these natural exhausts are marked as C6Hn sources, and players can harvest them by getting close to them. Note, however, that Benzene is atoxic resource capable of causing lung damageif players are not wearing protective suits.
When harvesting Benzene causes lung damage, consume Snake Oil or use an Injector to recover quickly.
Build a Benzene Extractor
Afterplacing an Outpost Beaconon a C6Hn-rich planet, players can place a Benzene extractor to harvest this mineral passively. Of course, this requires being close to an underground deposit, which appears as a highlighted piece of land on the scanner.
The extractor must be connected to a power source to start producing Benzene.

Players can buy a pack of Benzene for only 19 Credits. All they need to do is visit a resource vendor inany of the major cities. Midtown Minerals in Akila City and the Mining League on Neon are the best places to start.

Best Locations for Farming Benzene
Players will find numerous Benzene vents on Procyon V-c in the Procyon system. This is an ideal moon for farming C6Hn in larger quantities. However, they will also benefit from placing Benzene extractors on Hypnos and Ourea in the Olympus system.
