Summary
More often than not,Stardew Valleyencourages money-making as the primary gameplay goal, and one dedicated player managed to build a showcase of their immense wealth using a collection of Staues of Endless Fortune. Though aStardew Valleyplaythrough can diverge between the Community Center or the JojaMart routes, it is ultimately an open-ended adventure where the “ending” is left entirely in the hands of the player to define. Whether it’s a vast orchard of pomegranate trees, an entire field of coffee beans, a diverse greenhouse, or a lucrative winery, farming inStardew Valleyallows fans to build the farm of their dreams (and make a lot of money doing it).
There are many guides onhow to make money inStardew Valley, but the most common paths to success involve selling high-value artisan goods such as aged wine or truffles. After a certain point, the money sinks in the game become largely trivialized by the entrepreneurial empire that the player character can develop, and this is whereStardew Valley’s Casino comes into focus.

In order to even unlock the Casino, players first need to complete “The Mysterious Qi” quest inStardew Valley, which will give them a Club Card that lets them get past the Bouncer through the back of Sandy’s shop. The Casino unlocks a new vendor for players, where a shady individual offers the farmer a Statue of Endless Fortune for 1,000,000 gold. This is where the accomplishment of Neon_Rider_Rm shines through, as they shared a screenshot on the officialStardew Valleysubreddit of a cabin filled to the brim with Statues of Endless Fortune.
The cabin’s worth, statues included, amounts to a whopping sum of 137 million gold. As pointed out in the thread, it’s not aStardew Valleyitemthat early-game players should even think about, and even in middle-to-late game, it’s still considered a luxury. The Statue of Endless Fortune generates a pricey treasure for players every day, and more usefully, it generates a loved gift on the birthday of a Pelican Town villager. The fact that Neon_Rider_Rm could afford 137 copies of the statue is beyond impressive.
Though the base game is still slated to receive updates, many fans are anxiously awaitingnews on theHaunted Chocolatier, the spiritual successor toStardew Valley, and ConcernedApe’s next project. It remains to be seen how money-making will work in the Haunted Chocolatier, but it can safely be assumed that farming will not be the game’s focus.
Stardew Valleyis available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
