That is exactly why Reddit user fyhnn took to the r/StardewValley community to share their lament toward potentially traumatizing the little girl by taking her to the cinema while “Mysterium,” one ofthe films available inStardew Valley,was playing. While the film itself is not all that scary to the player’s eyes, showing only a dancing skeleton on the screen, it is meant to be a horror film, and the user’s screenshots show Jas leaving the theater in tears after seeing it.

Another player chimed in with a similar story in which they were accidentally rude to Jas by gifting her a lump of clay for her birthday by mistake when she walked in front of them. SinceStardew Valleyis a game all about building up relationships, things like this can hinder players' progress with certain characters, since they only have a limited number of opportunities to build it up each week.
A few people suggested that the player simply restart their game to reset the day, but they had apparently already progressed to the next day, and sinceStardew Valleyautomatically saves the game at the start of each one, there is no chance of going back now. Luckily, there will still be plenty more opportunities for the player to earn Jas’s friendship so long as they know the proper gifts to give her every week.
