Cameron Monaghan, the actor behindStar Wars Jedi: Survivor’s Cal Kestis, recently appeared at Ocala Comic Con in Florida, where he seemingly confirmed that a third game is currently in development. While he remained quiet about any specific details, he said that the project is “a big undertaking and there have been some conversations so far, but hopefully when all things are said and done we’ll be able to go in and make something really cool.”

While Cameron Monaghan seems eager for anotherStar Wars Jedigame, not everyone involved in the creation of the last two titles will be returning. Earlier this month, it was announced thatStar Wars Jedi: Survivordirector Stig Asmussenis leaving EA and Respawn Entertainment to pursue other projects. EA later stated that veteran members of the Respawn team will take his place on future games, including the supposedJedi: Survivorsequel that Cameron Monaghan mentioned in his latest convention appearance.

Star Warsmedia has traditionally come in sets of three, andJedi: Survivor’s ending leaves plenty of room to continue Cal Kestis’s adventures in another game. While neither EA nor Respawn have officially announceda newStar Wars Jedititleyet, Cameron Monaghan’s comments seem to confirm that one is in development due to his heavy involvement in the series. It may still be a while before players can jump back into action as Cal, but Monaghan seems to be looking forward to Respawn’s next foray into theStar Warsgalaxy.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris currently available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
