Each majorDestiny 2update has its fans that delve deep into the offerings to see what they can complete and acquire, but the race to world first has also become an anticipated event for the community. According to the announcement, theDestiny 2fireteam called Hard in the Paint was composed of characters named Grangalf, Kai, Osiris, Punz, Roen, and SK, though the Guardians' composition hasn’t been confirmed. Similar to prior world first raid winners like Clan Elysium, the aforementionedDestiny 2team was awarded a digital championship title, with this purple one featuring a central skull.
Given that everyDestiny 2season and its raids and dungeon receive walkthroughs that help players that are late to the party make their way through the new content, it’s become a measurement of success to be one of the world’s first. Although team Hard in the Paint may not have had an idea of what to expect from theDestiny 2Lightfallraid, it’s currently unclear whether they were able to exploit an issue to finish Root of Nightmares as quickly as they have or if it was as smooth as runs get. Now that the Root of Nightmares race has concluded,Destiny 2players will be left waiting until a future date for another opportunity to earn the title as this team has.
