Taking to Reddit earlier today, user Zantorn asserted that another Xbox Developer Direct is planned to take place during the week of January 14. While the veracity of their claim remains unclear, the same person previously correctly predicted that the June 21 and September 14 Nintendo Directs were to take place during the weeks of June 18 and September 10, respectively. Their 2023 leaks used Sundays as week-start markers, meaning that their latest claim implies the nextXboxDeveloper Direct will be held sometime during the seven-day period ending January 20.
Reflecting on this newly emerged rumor,Insider Gamingreported that it also understands that a new Xbox event has been “scheduled to take place within the next couple of weeks.” Assuming that is indeed the case, the upcoming broadcast will presumably be streamed via Twitch and YouTube, as was the case with last year’s Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct.
