Call of Duty 2020has yet to be officially announced, but right now the running theory is that the game will beCall of Duty: Vietnam, dropping theBlack Opssubtitlebut remaining firmly set in theBlack Opsuniverse. Details on what exactly the game will entail remain unavailable at the time of this writing, but a frequentCall of Dutyleaker has shed some light on what fans may be able to expect from the game’s rumored Zombies mode.

Treyarch’sCall of Dutygames are known for their Zombies modes, and it sounds like the upcomingCall of Duty: Vietnamwill be no exception. According to frequentCall of Dutyleaker TheGamingRevolution,Call of Duty: Vietnam’s Zombies mode will include the fan favorite TranZit map fromCall of Duty: Black Ops 2. There will be some other classic Zombies map inCall of Duty: Vietnamas well as some brand new ones, if TheGamingRevolution’s sources are to be believed.

TheGamingRevolution has also said thatCall of Duty: Vietnamwill have perks and use aPack-A-Punch systemmore in line with the olderCall of DutyZombies modes, as opposed to what was present inCall of Duty: Black Ops 4. Fans should take all of this information with a grain of salt, though, especially since no official details have actually been released for the game yet.

Call of Duty: Vietnam, or whatever it ends up being called, should be announced sooner rather than later. Activision typically announces newCall of Dutygames in May or June every year, so one has to imagine that the official reveal will come within the next couple of months. Previous leaks and rumors suggest thatCall of Duty: Vietnamwill be announced in May, so an official reveal could be coming in just a matter of weeks.

One possibility is thatCall of Duty: Vietnamwill be revealed at the Tuesday,May 12 Summer Game Fest event. Activision is confirmed to be a Summer Game Fest partner, and it’s been confirmed that a surprise new game reveal is happening on that day. However, that’s just speculation at this time, and it’s just as likely that a completely different game will be revealed on May 12 instead, so fans should keep their expectations in check.

WheneverCall of Duty: Vietnamis announced, it will be interesting to see what all is shown of it. It’s possible that the announcement will only include a look at the campaign, but hopefullyCall of Duty: Vietnam’s Zombies modeis given some attention as well. Fans will just need to hang tight for the officialCall of Duty: Vietnamreveal.
