So far, there’s been no confirmation from Activision regarding this leak, but this leak does seem very plausible based on the available information.

Further, October 6 is a Friday which would make sense for the start date of a beta weekend. Finally, with an official launch date of November 10, October would be the most likely time to hold beta events for the game.
