Robloxplayers on Reddit have taken to the internet to voice their complaints about the event, with many taking issues with the selection of popularRobloxgames available as part of the event and some of its rewards. For instance, one user by the name of u/MrWeirdAndUnique posed a question in the r/Roblox Reddit community about some of the games like “Blade Ball” and “Dress to Impress,” asking how they might be considered “classics” when some of them are less than 10 years old.

Another player, u/ScholarNeat1800 made an inquiry asking other fans which games they had hoped to see as part of “The Classic” that didn’t make the cut, with the most popular answer being the “Work at a Pizza Place” game, which was beaten out by the likes of some of the morepopularRobloxgames like “Adopt Me!“Others made mention of the “Natural Disaster Survival” game that was popular in the game’s prime, along with other survival games, baking simulators and several other classic experiences.
On the other hand, some of the games that are part of the event required far too much grinding in the games themselves to unlock,as u/Lewis_230311 points out, lamenting that the event only lasts from May 23-28, giving players only five days to earn all possible rewards. According to some of the comments, earning every single reward is doable if players are willing to grind, but this is likely to turn away casual players who don’t wish to spend hours on end on time-consumingRobloxgames.
While other legacy updates like the popularWorld of Warcraft Classicmanaged to bring back old content successfully,Roblox’s"classic” cosmetics seemingly fail to truly capture their original designs, with player u/DizzRobl0x calling out the “classic jacket.” The item appears as an all-black long-sleeve jacket with the originalRobloxlogo on the front and sells for 79 Robux or about $0.99 USD, though many players took issue with the fact that jackets like it were not actually available during the time in which the event is meant to replicate.
