Reddit user Victorique- posted a recording of a ranked match beginning, where the team exits the dropship only to see the massive ocean skybox below. When the team hits the invisible “ground,” they immediately begin looking for weapons but are unable to see any. Quickly adapting, they begin using the only attacks available, punching and kicking an enemy squad that had dropped close by. While the clip provides a clear view of the skybox, it demonstrates an issue that completely ruins the competitive viability ofranked matches inApex Legends.
Visual and gameplay bugs are becoming increasingly common, but they are not the only issues with the game. Recently,Apex Legendsplayers have been suffering frequent disconnects, interrupting the experience for many. Respawn has addressed some of the issues affecting the game, but players may have to wait a while for them to be fully fixed.
Respawn has shown a major commitment to balancing andkeeping an even playing field inApex Legends, but all the talk in the world will not solve the major issues affecting the game right now.
