Something that fans seem to have quite a bit of fun with in the game is creating their own characters, which isn’t possible in the story mode since that focuses on Arthur Morgan.
Red Dead Online’s character creation tools give players the ability to create characters that are truly their own. Robert Kirkman’sInvinciblehas become infinitely more popular thanks to the successful Amazon TV adaptation, creating many new fans and inspiring a ton of memes, usually revolving around the character of Omni-Man.Red Dead Onlineplayer and Reddit user HeySoloSoyYo recently brought Omni-Man to life in the game, creating a character that looks about as close to Omni-Man as would be possible without mods.
Omni-Manis one of the most popular characters fromInvincible. For those who aren’t aware of the show or the comic book, he is essentiallyInvincible’s equivalent to Superman, though to go into his personality or motivations would be to venture into spoiler territory. Regardless, fans have taken a liking to the character, creating all kinds of fan art and things like thisRed Dead Onlinetake on the character.
As it stands, Omni-Man inRed Dead Onlinemay be as close to fans will get to actually playing as the character in a video game. There doesn’t seem to be any plans for anInvinciblevideo game adaptation, thoughMortal Kombatgame director Ed Boon has weighed in on the prospect of Omni-Man joining the fighting game franchise as a guest fighter. Boon seems to think thatOmni-Man would be solid pick as aMortal Kombatguest fighter, so if fans are lucky, maybe he’ll join the next installment of the ultra-violent series.
In the meantime,Amazon has renewedInvinciblefor two more seasons, so fans should have a lot more to look forward to.
