Among the many characters ofGenshin Impact, the Archons are likely the most wanted units in the game. By far, all the Archons are overpowered in their own way. Raiden Shogun herself is amazing for her Supportive abilities and the Burst DMG she provides.

TheGenshin ImpactElectro Archon was released along with the fishing feature, allowing the first-ever fishing-related weapon to be the best F2P option for her. Apart from The Catch, of course, the 5-star Engulfing Lightning is the top choice for Ei. Other than those two, here are some of thebest weapons for Raiden Shogun inGenshin Impact.

Updated Jul 22, 2025, by Nahda Nabiilah:As the Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun will always be viable and considered as one of the best Electro characters in Genshin Impact. Whenever a new Electro character makes it into the game’s roster, they will always be compared to the Archon herself. Due to the ever-rising popularity of the Electro Archon, paired with the existence of new weapons, this article has been updated to contain more viable weapons for Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact.

27.6% ATK

Electro

R5 Effect

For every character in the party who hails from Liyue, the character who equips this weapon gains 11% ATK increase and a 7% CRIT Rate increase. This effect stacks up to 4 times.

Lithic Spear is a weapon that scales with the number of Liyue characters in the team. For every Liyue unit, the wielder will gain an extra 11% ATK and 7% Critical Rate (up to four stacks). Ideally, the user of the Lithic Spear should hail from theChinese-inspired region.

However, while Raiden Shogun will not fully benefit from Lithic Spear’s passive, the National team comp still guarantees her a 22% ATK and 14% Critical Rate addition.

30.6% Energy Recharge

Increase ATK by 40% and Movement SPD by 10% for 10s when using an Elemental Skill.

Tamayuratei no Ohanashi is a good option when players don’t have any of Raiden’sbest weapons inGenshin Impact. The ER sub-stat alongside the extra ATK% she gains from the weapon’s passive are enough to make it viable. Tamayuratei no Ohanashi also has a decent Base ATK for a 4-star Polearm, which further increases its value as one of the options for Raiden.

49.6% ATK

Effect

Increases Shield Strength by 20%. Scoring hits on opponents increases ATK by 4% for 8s. Max 5 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s. While protected by a shield, this ATK increase effect is increased by 100%.

So far, Vortex Vanquisher is considered a mediocre weapon inGenshin Impact. It’s not because the weapon is bad, though. This Polearm is actually great, but it’s not as universally useful as other Polearms like Staff of Homa or Primordial Jade Winged-Spear.

When Raiden Shogun wields Vortex Vanquisher, she can deal great DMG using it, but onlyif a shield protects her. If not, the 5-star weapon’s performance suffers significantly, making it a less desirable choice than some 4-star alternatives. Not to mention, Raiden’s build requires a lot of Crit Rate, Crit DMG, and Energy Recharge, which Vortex Vanquisher can’t fulfill.

36.8% Crit Rate

If there are at least 2 opponents nearby, ATK is increased by 32% and DEF is increased by 32%. If there are fewer than 2 opponents nearby, ATK is increased by 48%.

Deathmatch is likely the mostversatile Polearm inGenshin Impact. Its high Crit Rate sub-stat allows players to easily build Raiden’s Crit stats, close to that sweet 1:2 ratio. Other than that, this weapon also grants extra ATK%, so Raiden Shogun will always be boosted.

Generally, Deathmatch fits almost every Polearm character in the game. Not surprising, as people have to spend on the Battle Pass to obtain one, and even more to acquire the refinements.

36.8% Energy Recharge

Increases CRIT Rate by 8% and increases Normal ATK SPD by 12%. Additionally, Normal and Charged Attacks hits on opponents have a 50% chance to trigger a vacuum blade that deals 40% of ATK as DMG in a small AoE. This effect can occur no more than once every 2s.

When using Skyward Spine, Ei’s Burst hits are not considered Normal or Charged Attack hits. So, the Polearm’s vacuum blade will not work.

Despite that, though, Raiden Shogun can still benefit from all the other things Skyward Spine offers, namely, the 8% extra Crit Rate, the 12% extra Normal Attack SPD (which affects Raiden’s Burst), and, of course, itsEnergy Recharge sub-stat.

45.9% Energy Recharge

Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 32% and Elemental Burst CRIT Rate by 12%.

The Catch is obtainable by fishing inGenshin Impact. As a typical F2P weapon, Travelers can easily refine this Polearm up to maximum refinement. The only catch (pun not intended) is that players can only have one of them. At max rank, The Catch will grant a 32% bonus Burst DMG and 12% extra Crit Rate for Elemental Burst.

Among the F2P weapons, The Catch is the best weapon for Raiden Shogun because of how easily it enhances her gameplay without meeting any requirements.

13.8% ATK

For every point of the entire party’s combined maximum Energy capacity, the Elemental Burst DMG of the character equipping this weapon is increased by 0.24%. A maximum of 80% increased Elemental Burst DMG can be achieved this way.

Wavebreaker’s Fin has a high base attack compared to the other 4-star Polearms. Its passive is perfect for Raiden; it enhances the wielder’s Elemental Burst DMG, scaling with the party’s maximum Energy capacity.

Since Raiden Shogun has a demanding 90 Energy requirement, she already bumps Wavebreaker’s Fin bonus to a high level. When the Archon is paired withother Energy-hungry characters, it’ll be trivial to maximize this weapon’s potential, especially on full refinements.

16.5% ATK

Gain 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus. Obtain Consummation for 20s after using an Elemental Skill, causing ATK to increase by 3.2% per second. This ATK increase has a maximum of 6 stacks. When the character equipped with this weapon is not on the field, Consummation’s ATK increase is doubled.

Calamity Queller isShenhe’s best weapon inGenshin Impact. This Polearm works with a unit that spends most of their combat duration off-field, like Shenhe and Xiangling. Every second after casting Elemental Skill, the wielder will gain a 3.2% Attack bonus. If the wielder is off-field, this buff is doubled.

For Raiden Shogun, Calamity Queller’s passive can easily grow when she’s off-field. However, when she takes field time, the double bonus will disappear. But don’t worry. Even though Raiden Shogun will not be enjoying a 38.4% extra ATK when she enters the field, the Electro Archon will still benefit from the 19.2% addition, on top of the insane 741 Base ATK.

22.1% Crit Rate

On hit, increases ATK by 3.2% for 6s. Max 7 stacks. This effect can only occur once every 0.3s. While in possession of the maximum possible stacks, DMG dealt is increased by 12%.

Primordial Jade Winged-Spear may not be as unconditional as the top two Polearms, but thisXiao’s best-in-slot is still a great choiceas one of Raiden Shogun’s best weapons inGenshin Impact. When her strike hits an enemy, Ei will gain a 3.2% bonus ATK, up to seven stacks. So at max, she will gain around 22.4% extra ATK%.

At full-stack, Ei will also gain an additional 12% DMG bonus. As this bonus doesn’t stack off-field, Raiden Shogun has to hit several times before achieving max stack.

66.2% Crit DMG

HP increased by 20%. Additionally, provides an ATK Bonus based on 0.8% of the wielder’s Max HP. When the wielder’s HP is less than 50%, this ATK bonus is increased by an additional 1% of Max HP.

It’s no surprise that the legendary Staff of Homa continues to be the chart-topper in terms of Polearm weapons. Not only a high Crit DMG sub-stat, but this weapon also enhances Raiden’s ATK and HP under practically no conditions.

After enhancing HP, the user will then gain ATK based on their total HP. Pair this with Raiden’s decent base HP, and Staff of Homa is sure to give Raiden numerous boosts for her offensive stats.
