While it is made clear that Miles is more than capable of keeping New York protected without Peter alongside him, there is no doubt that Miles is still on a learning journey.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 3could very well include Miles being a mentor himself withthe introduction of Silk, but Peter will surely be keeping an eye on him to ensure all is well in the next installment. Whether it be adult advice or friendly neighborhood Spider-Man tips, Insomniac makes it clear that the relationship between the two characters will remain strong.

The Characters Now Have Time To Rekindle Their Romance
With the boots hung up for the time being, Peter’s character journey has come to a satisfying end, whether that is temporary or permanent. In manyadaptations that include Peter Parker as Spider-Man, the character hardly ever gets a chance at life or settling down and often suffers the consequences of trying to balance her two lives.
After losing Uncle Ben, Aunt May, and potentially Harry Osborn again, it is the perfect time for the story to cover his and MJ’s relationship in a positive light. If Peter is a playable character in the next game, this would be a great approach for Insomniac to take.

Peter May Pop Up On Occasion For Some Crime Stopping
There is no disputing Miles' capability of being New York’s one and only Spider-Man - it has been proven in the standaloneMiles Moralesgame and inMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, where he overcomes Symbiote Peter. Despite this, there will more than likely be threats that appear that will be too tough to handle alone, even for Peter himself.
Withthe ending of the gamesetting up Norman Osborn and Otto Octavius as the main villains, the likelihood of Peter joining the party to save the city is high. Besides this, as the free-roaming at the end of the game may suggest, there could be instances where players can control Peter to free-roam and stop crime when it is convenient for the character to do so.
2Helping Miles & Ganke With Suit Tech
Peter’s Genius Could Be Highly Beneficial To Miles
If there is anyone who is almost an expert at suit creation, it would be Peter Parker. After years of going solo and forming his own suits, with the Anti-Venom suit now inhabited within him, there are a plethora of ideas for suit designs and upgrades that could be in store for Miles.
WhileGanke and Milesare both capable of making enhancements alone, Peter would have the free time to support Miles while on the sidelines away from New York crime. This may tie into the narrative in terms of what Peter will be doing in the meantime after Harry and his vision crumbled due to Kraven and Venom.
1Daredevil Or Wolverine Team-Up
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 DLC Could Feature One Of Marvel’s Heroes
Going by the calamitousMarvel’s Wolverineleak, there is not much to suggest that any of the Spider-Men will be present during the narrative. Despite this, fans have been awaiting a cameo or introduction of popular Marvel heroes, and knowing that Peter and Logan have had multiple interactions together in comics and games, it would feel like a missed opportunity.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2contains references to the Hand, which will instantly alertDaredevilfans - seeing Matt Murdock and Peter team up together would work to great effect just as it would with Logan.
