In March, Bytten Studio announced themultiplayer update forCassette Beasts, which would change the game’s entire dynamic.

On May 20,Cassette Beastsreceived the multiplayer mode on all its platforms. The multiplayer update allows players to form groups and explore the world ofCassette Beastswith up to eight friends, all visible on the map. In the online mode, players can engage in PvP battles with custom rules or team up for cooperative raids against Rogue Fusions. It will also be possible to trade cassettes when meeting another player online. However, this eight-player multiplayer mode does not include the campaign, but it’s still possible to play it throughCassette Beasts’traditional cooperative mode.

Cassette Beasts Multiplayer Update Is Now Available

The collaboration event withMoonstone Islandhas also started.Moonstone Islandis another creature-collecting game published by Raw Fury but has a cozier setting. In this crossover event, it will be possible to collect themed outfits fromMoonstone Islandfor free inCassette Beasts. Meanwhile, the fiery dog Pombomb fromCassette Beastswill join the roster ofSpirits onMoonstone Island.

Some players may have overlookedCassette Beasts. Still, the monster-taming game has already garnered over 400,000 players since last year, reinforcingCassette Beastsas a fantastic monster-taming game. It was initially released on Steam, then made its way to Switch and Xbox, launching day one on Game Pass, and will have versions for iOS and Android on July 6.

However,Cassette Beastsis unavailable for PlayStation and might not be any time soon. In aReddit AMA, Bytten Studio responded thatCassette Beastsis on PC because it was developed with that platform in mind, Switch because the Nintendo console is considered the home of indies, and Xbox due to Game Pass.
