Pokemon GO’sbig anniversary event is still a few weeks away, but Niantic isn’t wasting any time building up hype for the big two-day GO Fest 2020 celebration. In addition to droppinga new commercial directed by the creator ofKnives Out, Niantic also released a new promo image this afternoon that is full of some exciting hints about the coming weeks.

Although the press release didn’t mention any new details aboutGO Fest spawns, Battle Raid bosses, or challenge rewards; there was a very exciting image included in the release that is full of some exciting teasers. At this point, trainers are hoping all of these Pokemon will be appearing as part of GO Fest, but Niantic has not confirmed that. It’s also possible that the company is just teasing Pokemon who will be arriving in thePokemon GO’sfourth year and not necessarily during the GO Fest event itself.

That said, there’s still some very exciting stuff to unpack here. First off, fans of Gen 6 regions will be happy to find out that the promo image does include all three starters fromPokemon XandPokemon Y. This likely means that by the end of GO Fest 2020 players will have added Fennekin, Chespin, and Froakie to their Pokedex. Those are the only new Pokemon making an appearance on the promo art though…

In addition to the Gen 6 starters, the image also includes the first look at somePoGOmega evolutions that are likely arriving during the GO Fest eventand a surprise appearance by Victini. If all of these new Pokedex entries are really up for grabs in a few weeks, then Niantic is likely about to sell a ton of additional tickets to the big GO Fest event.
