APokemonfan and artist has imagined what popular Eevee evolutions Espeon and Umbreon would look like as humans. Espeon and Umbreon were originally introduced in thePokemon Gold and Silvergames, with Espeon serving as Eevee’s Psychic-type evolution andUmbreon representing the Dark type.

Espeon and Umbreon are notable for being the first two new Eevee evolutions introduced after the initial batch. In the originalPokemongames, Eevee could only evolve into Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon, with all three of those evolutions triggered by their respective evolution stones. InPokemon Gold and Silver, Eevee could evolve into Espeon if players attained high friendship with it and leveled it up during the day. Getting Eevee to evolve into Umbreon worked much the same, except that the conditions had to be met at night instead.

Likeother Eevee evolutions, Umbreon and Espeon are two of the most popular Pokemon in the entirePokemonfranchise. Considering this, it’s really no surprise that there is a ton of fan art in celebration of them. One recent piece ofPokemonfan art, created by Reddit user endifi, shows what Umbreon and Espeon would look like as humans.

This is far from the first time endifi has given Pokemon human forms. Their previous work includes ahuman form for Pichu, a human form for Sudowoodo, and human forms for various other Pokemon. It’s an interesting concept and it’s fun to see how the Pokemon’s traits translate to a human design. However, endifi isn’t the only artist that’s given Pokemon human makeovers.

Recently, fellow Reddit user Comprehensive-Mix-61 also took a crack at it, imaging Eevee evolution Sylveon as a human. Another artist, jimbojims0, went through the trouble of givingall the Eevee evolutions human designs, so it’s clear that this is an idea that’s going to keep popping up in thePokemoncommunity.

Hopefully one day The Pokemon Company, Game Freak, and Nintendo givePokemonfans more material to work with when it comes to Eevee evolutions. As it stands, there are many Pokemon types that have yet to get corresponding Eevee evolutions, with no new evolutions introduced since Sylveon’s debut inPokemon X and Y.Pokemonfans are long overdue for new Eevee evolutions, but there’s no guarantee that more will even be added. However, it’s safe to say that new Eevee evolutions would go a long way in building a great deal of hype for futurePokemongames, so fingers crossed it happens.
