PlayStation’s Play at Home program has been a huge success, giving players 10 free titles since it started just under a month ago. Thankfully,PlayStationhas announced the program will not be ending as soon as many thought it would.

The Play at Home program started in March to encourage players to stay home during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic by offering free PlayStation games. The games spanned a wide variety, from first-party titles likeAstro Bot Rescue MissionandRatchet and Clankto smash indie hits likeThe WitnessandSubnautica. Most recently, the program allows players to get afree copy ofHorizon Zero Dawn: Complete Editionuntil May 14.

In a blog post announcing thatHorizon Zero Dawn: Complete Editionwas available now as part of the program, PlayStation confirmed this is not the end of Play at Home. Although the post does not give any details, it tells players to stay tuned for an update on Play at Home that they will be able to share soon, although there is no hint given about when they may be able to expect that news. However, the update is great for Sony fans who are playing their PlayStation 4 whilewaiting to be able to buy a PlayStation 5.

There is no indication of what games will be included in the program’s future, and its diverse record thus far leaves just about anything on the table. While any future phases of the program will likely include one or two different games from PlayStation’s sizable first-party library, the program has been used to highlight some of the indie titles available on PlayStation 4. The announcement comes soon after Sony announced it would listen to player feedback andleave the online stores for both the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita running.

As for when fans should expect more news on the Play at Home program, it is hard to say. PlayStation was announced to not be participating in E3 again this year, but it ispossible that PlayStation will have its own eventaround the same time, and potentially announce more news regarding the Play at Home program to build excitement leading up to the event. Fans should expect news in some form soon, but until then now is a great time to check outHorizon Zero Dawn: Complete Editionfor anyPlayStationfans who missed it when the game first released.
