For games like theDead Spaceremake,Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and other third-party games, text at the bottom of the screen reads “Coming to PS5 only,” which isn’t really accurate. The text means that the games aren’t coming to PS4 and are instead next-gen exclusive titles, but the wording may confuse some into thinking that the games are actual PS5 exclusives and not coming out for Xbox as well, which isn’t true.

TheDead Spaceremake,Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, andAlone in the Darkare all games stamped with “Coming to PS5 only” in the video, though all of those games are actually multi-platform releases in development for Xbox Series X as well. They aren’t even timed-PS5 exclusives. Some online have criticized Sony for presenting the video in this way. While those who pay attention to the gaming industry will understand that Sony is simply meaning that these particular titles are skipping the PS4, others may be misled by the video.

Confusing the issue a bit more is that the video also highlights some genuine PS5 exclusives and marks them with the same wording. PlayStation 5 exclusive games likeSpider-Man 2andFinal Fantasy 16can be seen, along withPS5 console exclusiveForspoken, which is technically coming out for PC as well.
