Persona 3 PortableandPersona 4 Goldenare coming to modern platforms relatively soon as Atlus has finally revealed a release date for their launch. Originally, Atlus announced that bothP3PandP4Gwill come to modern consolesafterPersona 5 Royal’s release later this month.
Persona 4 Goldencame out on PCin 2020, butPersona 3is only available on older platforms until this port comes out. While everyone has their favorite games from the series, bothP3andP4received critical acclaim when they came out. Atlus has just now announced the release date for these games, and it looks like fans will not have to wait long before they can get their hands on them.

Persona 3 PortableandPersona 4 Goldenwill launch on modern platforms on May 26, 2025. Atlus confirmed this news via a tweet shortly after a concert, and the developers also shared new artwork to go alongside this announcement. The art features the protagonists of recentPersonagames in the style ofPersona 3’s OST cover. It should be noted that all threePersonagames will launch on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Even though the shared image only makes note of Microsoft platforms and Xbox Game Pass, both games are to set launch on all consoles on this date.
Fans should note thatPersona 3does not have a definitive version, as bothP3PandP3 FEShave their pros and cons.FEShas better presentation, whileP3Pallows gamers to control their party members during combat encounters. It also lets users play as a female protagonist, something not possible inPersona 4orPersona 5. Due to the lack of a definitive edition,Persona 3fans have been asking for a full remakefor a while now.
Persona 5 Royalfinally launches on October 21 on PC, Switch, PS5, and Xbox consoles. Atlus will also launch a new limited edition, calledPersona 5 Royal1 More Edition, to mark this re-release. Furthermore, customers who buyP5Rwill get all of its DLC, which mainly consists of costumes for the cast of characters, for free.
P5Rwas originally released as a PS4 exclusive in 2020, and this PS5 version comes with a few enhancements. However,owners ofP5Rwill not get a free upgrade to the PS5 version, and their save files will also not transfer.
