Overcooked: All You Can Eatis getting a free update later this month that will add brand-new levels to the co-op cooking game.Overcooked: All You Can Eatcombines the first twoOvercookedgames and gives them a significant makeover, updating the graphics, streamlining the gameplay features, and more. It allows all theOvercookedlevels released so far to exist in a single hub, and now fans of the game will have even more levels to complete.
There has been some controversy overTeam17 and Ghost Town Games abandoningOvercooked 2in favor of releasing new levels exclusively forOvercooked: All You Can Eat, and while some fans may still be upset about that, those who have upgraded will soon have a big reason to return to the Onion Kingdom.

Overcooked: All You Can Eat’s next big update is arriving on October 12 to celebrate World Food Day. This completely free update will add 10 new levels toOvercooked: All You Can Eatspread across three distinct biomes (Baked Bazaar, Metro Mash, and Pepper Plaza). Three newOvercookedchefswill be available (Globe, Fox, and an alternate Goldfish skin) to help complete the two new recipes: bobotie and curry. The update will also be introducing a brand-new gameplay mechanic in the form of delivery bags. These bags serve as an obstacle that can impede one’s cooking, and they won’t go away until players deliver the correct raw ingredients to them.
While the new content is undoubtedly the most exciting thing about the upcomingOvercooked: All You Can Eatupdate, it should be noted that it will be doing more than adding new chefs and levels. The update will also be adding enhanced accessibility options to the game on top of addressing some lingering bugs and technical issues that have been plaguing it, too. One downside is that the update will not be adding any new achievements or trophies to the game. The only question remains is if this will be the lastbig update forOvercooked: All You Can Eat, or if fans can expect even more updates in future.
Some fans may be anxious for anOvercooked 3at this point, especially considering the controversy surrounding the free updates forOvercooked: All You Can Eat. While it’s hard to complain about free content,Overcooked: All You Can Eatmostly consisting oflevels from the first twoOvercookedgamesmeant that many fans couldn’t justify buying the game. It makes sense that they feel slighted that the new content isn’t coming to them despite the fact that they were earlier supporters, but those hard feelings would likely go away in the case of an actualOvercooked 3.
