Boros is probably the character that mostOne Punch Manfans are interested to see in action, however. Boros is the main antagonist of the first season ofOne Punch Man, and the only character in the entire show to give Saitama even a little bit of a fight. Crablante will likely serve as the final boss in theOne Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knowsvideo game, though it seems he will also be a part of the playable roster.
Basically every major character and most minor characters have been confirmed for theOne Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knowsvideo game roster. However, it’s entirely possible that Bandai Namco will announce even more characters for theOne Punch Mangame rosterahead of its release on February 28, though that remains to be seen.
So far, much of the attention given to the game has revolved around the title character,Saitama. Saitama’s entire gimmick is that he can defeat opponents in a single punch and is virtually invincible, so it seems as though it would be difficult to adapt the anime into a traditional fighting game. The workaround is that Saitama always arrives “late” to fights, meaning that players who select him will always be down one character for a certain amount of time in any given battle. There’s also a Dream Saitama where he’s in pajamas and is significantly nerfed as well.
How fans respond to these features remain to be seen, but we’ll find out whenOne Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knowslaunches later this month.
