One PieceChapter 1086 was full of surprises; after all, Oda lifted the curtains on many mysteries. The focus was mainly on the Five Elders and Imu, who were planning to use Mother’s Flame to destroy the kingdom of Lulusia. Imu’s reasons to demolish Lulusia Kingdom were simple: because it was close. After successfully testing out the weapon, the names of the Five Elders were revealed, along with their roles within the World Government.
As theOne Piecemonarchs from the Reverie went back to their respective kingdoms, many of them were overthrown in rebellions. The World Government deployedthe Marines to handle the situation, but they did not have enough manpower to cover every single area. Thankfully, they could rely on the power of the Seraphim.

The Strongest
The Seraphim have been created by Dr. Vegapunk. The genius scientist has been in the service of the World Government for many years. He is a perfectionist, which is why most of his inventions are flawless. Dr. Vegapunk was working on the Seraphim project before the time skip. First, he created the Pacifista, which were designedafter Bartholomew Kuma. The Pacifista were powerful weapons, and they wreaked havoc in Marineford. However, the Seraphim are a cut above the Pacifista.
According to Dr. Vegapunk, the Seraphim are the strongest form of humanity. They have been created using the Lineage Factor of King and the Shichibukai. By using the Lineage Factor of the Shichibukai, Vegapunk was able to give each Seraphim a unique appearance. They also displayed the personality traits of the Shichibukai that they were modeled after. The Lunarian traits enhanced the Seraphim’s durability and physical strength. S-Hawk, one of the Seraphim, was able to slice a huge part of the mountain in Amazon Lily. He also forced Blackbeard to defendhimself with Busoshoku Haki. The Emperor was shocked to see the Seraphim’s power and realized that they were not to be trifled with. Not long afterward, it was revealed that there were a total of four Seraphim. However, many fans speculated that the number could be even higher. In Chapter 1086, it was confirmed that indeed there were more Seraphim.

The New Three
The latest chapter showed the Seraphim resembling Crocodile, Moria, and Doflamingo. The facial features of all three Seraphim were akin to the current version of the former Shichibukai. The three Seraphim also haveLunarian traits, which grant them immeasurable power. Each Seraphim has its own name; for example, Mihawk’s Seraphim is S-Hawk, and Kuma’s Seraphim is S-Bear.

Moria and the others have also been given unique names based on their appearance or other traits, but they have not been revealed yet. Moria’s Seraphim could be S-Bat, an attack that he used in the Thriller Bark arc. Meanwhile, Doflamingo’s Seraphim might be S-Flamingo, which would be in line with his name and the feathery coat on his back. Finally, Crocodile’s Seraphim is very likely going to be called S-Croc.
Devil Fruits
At the moment, not much is revealed about the new trio, but it is very likely that they are also Devil Fruit users. Moria has been a Devil Fruit for a long time, so Vegapunk would have used the Lineage Factor to give his Seraphim the same abilities. It has been stated that Moria was able to fight with Kaido. Moria retreated after his crew was slaughtered by Kaido. Moria’s Seraphim will give the readers a glimpse of Moria’s prime, and he might even reveal some ingenious ways of using the Kage Kage no Mi.
Doflamingo’s Seraphim should have the Ito Ito no Mi, which isa Paramecia-type Devil Fruit. It has great utility and can serve other purposes except for attacking another person. It will be interesting to see if Doflamingo’s Seraphim has awakened his Devil Fruit.

Crocodile’s Seraphim will not have the Suna Suna no Mi, as Vegapunk stated it was too difficult to clone the power of a Logia-type Devil Fruit. So, it is plausible to assume that he chose another Devil Fruit for Crocodile’s Seraphim. Given the fact that Vegapunk requires the Lineage Factor of another individual to create Green Blood, he must have taken the sample from one of the prisoners inside Impel Down. The facility has held some of the most notorious prisoners in the world, and taking the Lineage Factor from one of them would have been easy. Vegapunk might have taken samples from Diamante, San Juan Wolf, or Shiki.
Where Are They?
One of the biggest questions on everyone’s mind is, “Where are the three Seraphim?” S-Hawk, S-Snake, S-Bear, and S-Shark are all in Egghead. Considering the fact that the Shichibukai system no longer exists, the other three have been sent to deal with the rebellions taking place all over the world. A single Seraphim has enough power to bring an entire nation to its knees, so the three newly introduced Seraphim are the perfect candidates for the job.
Normally, the Seraphim are supposed to return to Egghead after a mission, but it is possible that they have been continuously fighting in different kingdoms. Or there is a chance that the three are with Kizaru and St. Jay Garcia Saturn. The Gorosei have the highest authority when it comes to the Seraphim Hierarchy. They will obey all commands from the Gorosei, and they can only be overruled by another member of the Gorosei.
