This confirmation sent shock waves throughout the entireOne Piecefandom, as many fans believed that Kaido might still get up and fight. After Kaido’s defeat, the news also started to spread around the Land of Wano.

Kaido’s defeat meant that he joined Big Mom in the magma pit. At the beginning of the raid, no one expected that Kaido and Big Mom would both be defeated, but themembers of the Worst Generationdid what they do best and caused major upsets. The two Yonko used to be comrades many years ago, and they fought against each other before the raid began, but they ended up forming an alliance. Both of them are among the strongest characters in the series, but who is the stronger of the two?
5Strength
Kaido and Big Mom are much bigger than normal humans. Kaido is 710 cm tall and Big Mom is 880 cm, for contrast the average human height for males is 176 cm, and for females, it is 163 cm. Due to their immense size, the two Yonko can easily overpower ordinary humans. Both of them are literal monsters, who can tank extremely strong attacks without any problems.

Big Mom was able to move despite being wrapped in seastone shackles, and fight against numerous opponents at once. During the Whole Cake Island arc, she caused widespread destruction in Totto Land, and if she hadn’t been stopped, it is fair to assume that Big Mom would have destroyed the entire kingdom. Kaido’s strength has earned him the respect of other pirates, and he received the moniker of the “Strongest Creature in the World.” In his normal human form, Kaido was able to knock out Luffy, who was using Gear Fourth, with a single hit. In the past, Kaido has also managed to sink nine prison ships on his own, which is an immense feat. In terms of pure strength, Kaido is stronger than Big Mom.
4Devil Fruit
The two Yonko havetwo of the strongest devil fruits that have been revealedin the series so far. Kaido possesses the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, which is a mythical zoan type devil fruit, and it allows him to transform into a dragon at will. He can also turn into a hybrid, and it is very likely that he has awakened his devil fruit. The devil fruit grants him an array of strong abilities that include heightened recovery, stamina, and endurance. Furthermore, he can also launch attacks such as Bolo Breath and Kaifu.
Big Mom possesses the Soru Soru no Mi, a paramecia type devil fruit, which allows her to steal the souls of other people. She can use these to increase her own strength and to create special recipients of “homies” for herself. Big Mom’s devil fruit also allows her to consume her own soul to increase her power and additionally, she can even use the devil fruit to heal her bones. Big Mom’s devil fruit is better than Kaido’s as it is almost as powerful, and it is much more versatile.
3Haki
Asthe Wano Country archas dragged on, it has become increasingly clear that Haki is just as important as having a powerful devil fruit. Kaido and Big Mom have incredibly refined Haki, which allows them to both attack and defend. The two Yonko all three types of Haki.

Big Mom is able to imbue her attacks with Haoshoku Haki, which allows her to cause damage to her opponent, without making any contact. She also has mastery over Bushoshoku Haki, and it enabled her to block attacks from Luffy’s Gear Fourth. Kaido is one of the few characters who can use the advanced forms of all three types of Haki. His Haoshoku Haki was so refined that Luffy needed to master it to hurt him seriously. Furthermore, he can use future sight to predict his opponent’s attacks. There is no doubt that Kaido has better control over his Haki than Big Mom.
2Endurance
There is very little that separates the two when it comes to endurance, but Kaido has the edge with his mythical zoan type devil fruit. He was fighting against themembers of the Worst Generation, Yamato, Momosouke and he was also using his flame clouds to keep the island afloat. Prior to fighting them, Kaido had also fought against the Nine Scabbards.
Big Mom’s stamina is much higher than other pirates, and she can rival Kaido without any notable problems. During the raid on Onigashima, Big Mom also fought against the members of the Worst Generation, Marco, and Zeus. It took the combined efforts of Kid and Law to bring her down.
1Final Verdict
Both the Yonko are very close to each other in terms of power.They served on the same crew in the past, and they do have a lot of respect for one another. Before the banquet started, when the two of them fought for several days and the fight ended in a stalemate, which shows that there isn’t a huge difference between them.
But, in a serious fight to the death, there is no doubt that Kaido will defeat Big Mom because he is superior to her in some crucial areas, which can potentially decide the winner.
