Employed byTimothy, the leader of the Adventure Guild partyCounter Arrow, this spell creates a large fireball with a diameter of about two meters, which can then be fired towards targets at a considerable range from the user. The resulting explosion from this spell unleashes a sizable shock wave and a cloud of hot air which can be seen from a long distance away.
Timothy’s use ofEx-Flameinvolved a brief incantation, since he was unable to perform silent spell-casting. His execution of the spell served to thin out the numbers of a herd of Luster Grizzlies during an A-Rank quest that the party had been assigned by the Adventure Guild in the Northen Lands of the Central Continent. With repeated usage, Timothy was able to subdue quite a few Luster Grizzlies without having to engage them at close range.
Advanced
While this ability has not been used yet in theMushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnationanime, it was alluded to in the light novels. True to its name, the spell conjures a burst of molten lava which can then be fired towards targets for offensive purposes. By virtue of beingan Advanced rank melded magicspell that combines an Earth spell and a Fire spell,Magma Gushis sure to consume a substantial amount of mana when cast.
Moreover, the spell will also likely deal a lot of damage to any target that has the misfortune of falling victim to it, although the finer details behind the spell’s execution and effects have not been revealed. That being said, spells of this rank generally have a wide range of effectiveness and carry a huge amount of destructive potential ingrained into them, so it is certain that Magma Gush will have a similar impact when cast.
Thiswas conjured by Rudeus with the aidof his signature silent spell-casting method while on a quest alongside the Adventure Guild party Counter Arrow. In essence, this spell sees the caster amass a truly massive fireball, dwarfing their own stature by a considerable margin. Furthermore, the speed at which it is fired enhances the damage it delivers on impact, producing an explosion of monumental scale.
When Rudeus made use of it, the spell utterly devastated an entire herd of Luster Grizzlies, saving his allies from a situation where they were struggling to survive. Once again, this spell requires a fair amount of mana to perform given its Advanced rank. Finally, there is a drawback toExodus Flame, as the heat it produces poses a danger to the caster themselves, since they may suffer burns on parts of their body that are too close to the fireball.
Saint
Easily the most powerful Fire spell with an official rank in the series,Flash Overis ideal for dealing with large swarms of enemies, or an opponent of massive size. Essentially, this spell allows the caster to produce huge amounts of flames which fan out and wreak havoc over a wide area in an instant.
This makes it extremely hard to dodge for anyone caught within its area of effect, and it is extremely difficult to guard against for a mage who cannot perform spells of a similar class to counter it. Due to its status as a Saint rank Fire spell, Flash Over takes up a fair amount of mana when performed, and only a select few mages in theworld ofMushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnationwill be able to cast it properly.

The result is a condensed sphere of energy brimming with intense power, which can be shot towards a designated target with incredibly high precision,making it one of the most dangerous abilities inMushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation.
On impact, the explosion produced is enough to destroy an entire village — as seen in Rudeus' second battle against Orsted. Rudeus came up withNiclear Explosionwhen he was forced into a corner during his first encounter with Orsted, and the danger it posed forced the Dragon God to summon his Dragon Gate in order to neutralize it.
