InCall of Duty: Modern Warfare, players can take part in a mode called Search and Destroy. In this mode, two teams fight in a battle over a pile of explosives. When one group ofModern Warfareplayers beats the other, the teams switch attack and defense roles, and the content is enjoyed by many in theCall of Dutycommunity.
Whilemost Search and Destroy battles are straightforward, a new exploit has been circulating that creates a difficult situation for fans to deal with. The exploit has been dubbed ‘The Blender,’ and fans are quickly learning about its match-ending potential.

The idea behind ‘The Blender’ is to turn a planted bomb into a literal meat grinder byplacing a Trophy Systemwherever the bomb is going to be put. By planting the bomb there, it will float above the ground and create an area of effect blast when players toss a throwing knife perpendicular to the bomb, which causes them to start spinning through the air. With multiple knives in place, if players destroy the Trophy System it creates an elaborate trap that defends the bomb. Fans should be warned that knife placement is important, as any misaligned knives have a chance of not impacting properly and producing the intended effect.
The trick is simple, as when a player approaches the bomb to disarm it they will insteadhit at least one of the spinning knives. This causes the knife to instantly kill an attacking player, which prevents the bomb from being touched at all.
For enemies unaware that this exploit exists, the effect can result in instant death and a loss. In Search and Destroy, defusing the bomb is the only way to win a round for the defending side after it has been placed. If no players can get near it, the exploit can cause aninstant win for the offensive side.
With how rapidly the exploit is being shared, along with its impact on the game mode, there is no doubt in many fan’s minds that Infinity Ward will notice its use. TheCall of Dutycommunity is expecting the issue to be patched, but until then fans should watch out for flying knives. After all, until this is fixed, there is always a chance that thisexploit may appear and end the game early like previous bugs.
