As more features and blocks are added, the possibilities open up further. One player evenbuilt a Walmart inMinecraft, showing how the real world can be used as inspiration for in-game builds.

Redditor Bubbaflubba_ shared their awesome creation online, which is a full recreation of the balloon house from Pixar’sUp. ThisimpressiveMinecraftbuildis up in the clouds, and unfortunately the user in the thread never clarified how they began the build so high to begin with. Sadly, they don’t show the interior of the house either, so it isn’t clear if the inside is also complete. However, what can be seen is awesome, and the balloons have been perfectly placed to resemble those in the film. Getting the shape of this correct would be much harder than it seems, as making it seem as though the balloons are in motion would prove a difficult task.

One of the coolest things aboutMinecraftis how players use it to pay tribute to their favorite pieces of media, whether it be films or games. Something likeUpmakes sense - it has a whimsical quality that just suits aMinecraftbuild. However, it’s always impressive to see someone create aMinecraftcrossover that doesn’t necessarily sound like it would work on paper. One gamer even built anincredible arena based onRocket LeagueinMinecraft, which seems to be a strange combination on the face of it.
Minecraftis coming off the back of its 15th-anniversary celebrations, with some awesome announcements indicating a strong future for the franchise. An animated Netflix series was even announced, marking the next step inMinecraft’s multimedia ambitions. It’s exciting times to be aMinecraftfan, just as it has been for the last 15 years.
