A change celebrated by the community, preview 1.20.80.21 added the eight new wolf variations thatMinecraftJava players had tested in one of the snapshots.MinecraftBedrock has now received a new preview, and it includes a neat reference.

Minecrafthas released preview 1.21.0.21 for Bedrock Edition, adding five new paintings, one referencing the famous paintingAmerican Gothic.Minecraftplayers were quick to notice that one of the new paintings, which shows two villagers posing side by side with the village in the background, is a reference to Grant Wood’sAmerican Gothicpainting. Created in 1930, Wood’s work depicts a man and a woman in front of a house and is one of the most famous paintings of the 20th century. The otherpaintings thatMinecraftplayers can craftinclude one based on pack.png, an image known for being the icon of the default texture pack.
The five newMinecraftpaintings are called Baroque, Humble, Meditative, Prairie Ride, and Unpacked, and were created by Sarah Boeving. Bedrock players can also finally try out the new Mace, Wind Burst, Density, and Breach enchantments, added in a recentMinecraftJava snapshot. Another new feature in preview 1.21.0.21 is the Raid Omen mob effect, which lasts 30 seconds, and after it expires causes a Raid to start in the location where the player gained the effect. Mojang has also made adjustments to thenew Trial Chamber structureand the Trial Spawner block, accessibility and interface adjustments, and the Hardcore Mode death screen, which only in the preview shows the option “Spectate World.”

The newMinecraftpaintings are currently available only on Bedrock, with Java players receiving the update soon. With this new round of content and tweaks, Mojang continues to prepare the path for the arrival ofMinecraftupdate 1.21, which is much anticipated due to the wide range of features it will add to the game.
