After the first two MCU inspired costumes received a bit of harsh feedback from theMarvel’s Avengerscommunity, this week’s update manages to turn things around and deliver not just one, but three MCU outfits that already seem to be fan-favorites. The weekly Marketplace update arrived a few days ago with theusual Priority and Mission rotationand heroes can now hit the shop and see if they’re willing to drop some cash on the new items.

MCU-inspired suits and comics-inspired suits have been a frequent request since the very first days ofMarvel’s Avengers. Althoughsome previous outfitsclearly took inspiration from particular comic runs or film interpretations of suits, there has always been something just a little off about them. That all changes this week with a handful of the most recognizable outfits from MCU history making their way into the game (along with a very iconic Ms Marvel comics costume).

As always, the items will be up for grabs for players who are willing to drop some cash in the game’s Marketplace. The items should be available through at least Thursday and then it’s possible that the week 39 rotation could bump these out of the store for the time being. There will also be some new nameplates up for grabs in the shop for players who are interested in that sort of item…

Ms Marvel Legendary Future Guardian outfit

“Ms. Marvel stands proud in her new Legendary Future Guardian outfit! We know that Ms. Marvel fans have been wanting this one for a while—get it now!”

Those aren’t the only items in the shop this week though. Players can also find eight Red Room themed Epic Nameplates for purchase and two free MODOK nameplates. In addition to all of that, there is another Hulk outfit up for grabs as well…

Marvel’s Avengers Doc Green outfit

Hulk - Doc Green Outfit

“He might be a big green angry machine, but… he still has an M.D. and PhD. Pick up the Doc Green outfit and verify no one forgets it!”

That should be just about everything players need to know about this week’s Marketplace update. These outfits seem to be very well-received by the community based on early social media buzz, so hopefully future cosmetic options follow similar inspiration and continue at this level of quality and accuracy.

With no subscription fee andfree DLC for each additional hero, the game’s Marketplace is perhaps the primary source of income, so it’s a very crucial feature that needs to be offering tempting items to keep the game up and running.
