It appears that Tom Holland isn’t the only one sharing spoilers with others. Oscar-winner Marisa Tomei, who will reprise her role as Aunt May yet again inSpider-Man: No Way Home, has shared the film’s ending with her therapist.
Tomei first debuted as Aunt May in 2016’sCaptain America: Civil War, and her younger, more vibrant portrayal of the character was met with much praise. AfterSpider-Man: Homecoming, she would then go on toappear inAvengers: EndgameandSpider-Man: Far From Home. But now with the stakes higher than ever for what is supposedly the conclusion of Holland’sHomecomingtrilogy, it’s very likely that this may be Tomei’s last appearance as Aunt May.

In a new interview with BackstageOL as part of theSpider-Man: No Way Homepress tour, Tomei shared that due to the upcoming Marvel film’s weight and continuous hype being built up, she had to get some things off her chest, and that meant spoiling the ending for only other person who is professionally bound to keep any secrets: her therapist. “I had to be under oath and I had to tell someone,” Tomei said. “Only my therapist knows the ending.” While Tomei was in good spirits sharing any of the film’s big spoilers with her therapist, her interview has led many fans to speculate what will happen to her character.

While Holland has stated this film will be the conclusion of a trilogy, Sony producer Amy Pascal recently spoke out about the involvement ofHolland in futureSpider-Manfilms, claiming that she and many others are already developing new stories for the character to be featured in. “We are getting ready to make the next ‘Spider-Man’ movie with Tom Holland and Marvel, it just isn’t part of… we’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies,” Pascal shared.
