Mario vs. Donkey Konghas several worlds that players can explore, and each one focuses on a certain theme. For example, when fans get to World 3, they have to complete courses set in a scorching mountain filled with hot lava, but once they get through all the levels in this location, they’ll move onto a much more cheerful place called Merry Mini-Land with ferry wheels in the distance.
This guide aims to help players complete Level 4-2 inMario vs. Donkey Kong. On top of this, it’ll also show them how they can get every collectible before grabbing the Mini-Mario Toy and moving on to the third level in World 4.
Area 1
Just like onLevel 4-1, players must deal with wind flowers once again on Level 4-2, as this is the main mechanic for puzzle solving in World 4. Players shouldturn on the blue switch as soon as they start Level 4-2; this will cause the spring to drop down, which is necessary to continue the course.
How to Get the Red Present
To get the red present on Level 4-2, gamers have toplace the spring near the now-deactivated red flower and use itto reach the gift.
How to Get the Key
Players must nowhop onto the blue platform and turn the red switch back on. Next, they’ll have to throw the spring onto the red flower’s gust of wind so that it’ll move onto the red platform - this will allow players to jump to the top floor. To get the key, gamers have to turn on the blue switch up top, grab the key, and throw it into the area between the red and blue pillars.
The key can only be left unattended for a maximum of 12 seconds, so players will only have a short period of time to complete the next few steps. Once the key has been thrown into the area mentioned above, gamers have todrop down to the blue platform, activate the red switch, go back up to the top floor using the red flower’s gust, grab the key, and unlock the door.
Area 2
Once players enter Area 2, they have to place the spring on the wooden deck underneath the ropes. This will allow them to jump high enough to grab one of them andreach the blue switch, which they must turn on. Then, they have tojump back down, climb up the blue ladder, and jump on the blue flower’s draft in order to grab onto the next set of ropes.
How to Get the Yellow Present
The yellow gift is at the top of the rope on the left side of Area 2, and players must grab it before activating the yellow switch.
Once the yellow flower is blowing, gamers need to climb up to it and let the gust take them back to the right side of Area 2. They must jump back down, andthrow the spring on the yellow platformso that the wind flower will blow it onto the platform above.
How to Get the Blue Present
Gamers can grab the blue Present right at the start of Area 2, but to do it without the spring nearby, they’ll have to perform ahandstand double jump. If not, they can use the spring to reach it once they get it up there.
How to Get the Mini-Mario Toy
Players mustjump onto the highest platform using the spring they brought down from the ground level. Then, the Mini-Mario Toy will be on the left, and fans only have to grab it to complete Level 4-2.
