The Version 3.0.1 update forMario Kart 8 Deluxeofficially shipped on Tuesday, making multiple minor changes to address ongoing bugs with the game. Among the biggest fixes within the update was a change to matches with an unstable connection, allowing players to once again claim strong items when not “sandbagging.” The patch also addressed numerous bugs with specific courses including Tour Vancouver Velocity, GC DK Mountain, and Wii Daisy Circuit among others.
