4Why You Recognize The Voice Of Miss Minutes
Tara Strong, who has voiced a handful of notable superheroes, it the voice of Miss Minutes. The voice actress has portrayed a number of comic book characters such as Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. She was also the voice of Raven in Teen Titans as well. Surprisingly, Strong voiced Timmy Turner in the Fairly Odd Parents, which aired from 2001 - 2018. It is fair to say that Strong has been one of the prominent animated voice actors of the last couple of decades. She was the perfect fit for the role of Miss Minutes. Thankfully, there are some hints that we will be able to hear her portrayal in a few more episodes.
3Miss Minutes Is An Homage To 1950s Marketing
There are a ton of different references to the propaganda techniques of the 1950s and prior. The artwork of Miss Minutes on the wall, the grainy cartoons, and the reassuring narration are just a few. Miss Minutes has a comforting southern accent that distracts from the pretty horrible imagery throughout the video. Silly sound effects go hand in hand with multi-dimensional wars, right? The idea behind the style of the video and the way the TVA was introduced is nothing short of brilliant.

Marvelcould have had Mobius explain the history, but creating thisunique character fits perfectly with the themeof the show. The TVA itself looks like a throwback from the 50s, but with unfathomable technology. Perhaps some of the themes in the show are homages tothe Fallout series, which features a number offictional early 20th century characters.
2Time Travel: A Hunky-Dory Perspective
There is something eerie about a cartoon explaining howrelativity, time travel, and multiple timelines work. Even though Miss Minutes has an American accent, her style of humor is dry and British. The best way to hear that you will stand trial for crimes is via a small cheerful clock. In the words of Miss Minutes “You may have started an uprising, or you may just have been late for work. Whatever it was, stepping off your path created a nexus event.” It makes sense to treat tardy employees the same as time manipulating tyrants in the eyes of the TVA. Sit tight and the TVA will find you a judge in no time!

Kate Herron,Loki’sdirector has already hinted that we may see Miss Minutes play a larger role in future episodes (Via:Screen Rant). There are stilla multitude of things the viewers need explained, and who better to do it than Miss Minutes. The absurdity of Loki watching a 1950s cartoon is something fans are craving to see again. When speaking about the character, Herron mentioned Felix the Cat, a character created in 1919. The director also called Miss Minutes a Roger Rabbit-like character. Clearly, there are a lot of influences driving the creative process with the character.

Most importantly, Herron states that she hopes viewers enjoy more of Miss Minutes. That remark has to be an indication that Miss Minutes will grace us with at least another appearance. Viewers still have no idea how being “reset” works, and much of the TVA origin is unclear from the introduction.
