About 10 days ago, a Microsoft store listing forKingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologuewent up, and it claimed that the game would beavailable for Xbox owners come February 18. However, not long after the post went live, Microsoft took it down for unknown reasons.
This made the leaks' credibility questionable, as some thought Microsoft posted it as a mistake, which it’s done before in regards toKingdom Hearts 3coming to the PC. Others figured the store just announced the availability of theKingdom Heartscollection too early.

Fast forward to today, and it turns out the latter was correct. The Microsoft Store listing forKingdom Hearts 2.8has not only gone back up, but the Kingdom Hearts Twitter account backed it as the official release of the game to the Xbox One. On top of that,Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remixis available now right alongsideKingdom Hearts 2.8, which collectively makeseveryKingdom Heartstitlecurrently available for the PlayStation now available for the Xbox as well.
In total, that equates to six games and three movies.Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5containsKingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep,Kingdom Hearts Final Mix,Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories,Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days(movie),Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, andKingdom Hearts Re: Coded(movie).Kingdom Hearts 2.8containsKingdom Hearts 3D,Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep, andKingdom Hearts X Back Cover(movie). For the most part, these titles are listed in chronological order for anyone looking to play through the series that way. However,Back Covershould be watched before starting the firstBirth by Sleepin that case.
It should be noted that theKingdom Heartscollections are only digitally available for the Xbox One. Anyone looking to get the games physically will have to wait a little longer. How much longer remains a mystery, though, as Square Enix hasn’t released any details on when the physical copies might come out.
Finally, the tweet also announced thatKingdom Hearts 3would be available on the Xbox Gamepass starting February 25.
