Despite often being viewed as flashy and vain, Gojo has shown many times in his past that he can be caring and selfless when it matters. As a student at Tokyo Jujutsu High School, Gojo was tasked with bringing Riko back to school, with the sorcerer using his technique Infinity to keep her and Kuroi safe. Gojo’s actions that protected a valued asset, such as Riko, drained a lot of energy from the sorcerer, showing the lengths Gojo will go to protect others.
In the Shibuya Incident arc, Gojo performs an incredible featin preventing the loss of hundreds of innocents at the Shibuya train station, protecting them from special-grade curses. Due to Gojo’s selflessness, Gojo eventually succumbs to the curse’s power and strategy as he gets captured.

After their battle, the character shows kindness and respect to Mechamaru, even suggesting he would be willing to visit his damaged body.

After first meeting Maki, Yuta treats Maki with respect and care despite her looking down on what she perceives as a weak individual.
