Jujutsu Kaisencontinues its incredibly strong run this week as well with chapter 237, as the aftermath of the fight between Gojo and Sukuna was finally tackled in the manga. Much to the surprise of the fans, there was no time for mourning the death of Gojoat all, which is a decision that did not sit well with many fans.

Instead, the series immediately went into another battle on the back of the previous one. This time, it was Kashimo who jumped in to fight Sukuna and that is exactly whatJujutsu Kaisenchapter 237 focused on. Along with that, there were a lot of interesting twists and turns in the fight, with the chapter finally ending on a massive shock, that was the return of Sukuna at full power after a millennium.
Sukuna Vs Kashimo Begins
Immediately as the chapter began, there was no time to waste on lingering thoughts and emotionson the death of Gojo.In fact, fans did not even get to see the reaction of Gojo’s very own students, who just had to experience this horrific death right in front of themselves and were helpless about it. It was a very weird decision by the author, however, it was one that he felt he needed to take to further the story even faster. That is precisely why Kashimo jumped in at the end of the last chapter and, in this chapter, he arrived on the battlefield having jumped some 200 meters in a blink of an eye.
The fight between these two characters was focused on very well, however, before that could happen, fans saw the unexpected arrival of Uraume. Fans know them to be a very loyal follower of Sukuna who also teamed up with Kenjaku in order to get to the goal of resurrecting the King of Curses. In this chapter, Uraume descended from the skies on a giant block of ice towards Sukuna. It appeared as if the two were going to team up, however, as the story progressed, that was not to be.

Regardless, fans know that Uraume is an extremely powerful character and someone who should be feared. Their skill and manipulation of cursed energy is very dangerous yet, they were not there to fight. The goal of this character in this chapter was to deliver the cursed tool of Sukuna, which was created by the binding vow of Yorozu, before she ended up dying. This cursed tool ended up making it to Sukuna successfully and, now, he has one of his two weapons that he used to wield back during the Golden Age of sorcery. At the same time, Uraume themselves was not forgotten in the chapter. Hakari, one of the strongest sorcerers of the current era, decided to jump in himself and take care of Uraume.
Hakari immediately jumped on the block of ice and the two also started engaging in combat. These two characters appear to be evenly matched, for the most part, however, when comparing their individual strengths, Hakari seems to have the advantage given that he has more cursed energy and, of course, a powerful Domain Expansion inside which, if he lucks out, he is basically unkillable. All that taken into consideration, it is likely that the winner of this fight will be Hakari. For now, there is a long way to go as the only thing that fans saw regarding their fight in the chapter was Hakari using his Domain Expansion to trap Uraume and the latter activating their cursed technique, Ice Formation. This fight will continue and fans are incredibly excited to see how it goes and who ends up dying and who ends up living.

The rest ofJujutsu Kaisenchapter 237 focused extensively onthe fight between Sukuna and Kashimo.Fans knew that this fight would be the highlight of the chapter and the author certainly delivered on that end. Although the fight started with a bit of conversation between these two, it wasn’t long until they broke into action and fans found out how they would fare against each other. While the vast majority of the fans believed that Sukuna would be dominant in the fight, the opposite ended up happening.
This is down to the fact that Gojo whittled down Sukuna quite a lot and put him in a very weakened state where most of his techniques were compromised, along with his healing ability. This meant Kashimo had an easier time fighting him, and the clash became even easier when he started utilizing his cursed technique, Genju Kohasaku.

Kashimo’s Cursed Technique - Genju Kohasaku
Fans have been waiting for Kashimo to unleash his cursed technique for quite a long time. He has been in the Culling Game for a while now and he has done exceedingly well for himself. His strength has been highlighted time and again and he has proved to be one of the strongest in the entire game. All that he has managed to achieve without even tapping into his cursed technique, which just goes to show that he is a monstrous fighter. Finally, in the fight against Sukuna, Kashimo tapped into the power of his cursed technique, called Genju Kohasaku. This technique is incredible as it allows Kashimo to utilize any phenomena caused by lightning and electricity.
His entire body gets coated in an electrical aura and he becomes immune to any electricity-based attack. When Sukuna received his cursed tool, he immediately tried it on Kashimo, only to realize that this technique had no effect on him. Kashimo then went on to display his own strength inJujutsu Kaisenchapter 237, shocking all the readers as well as Sukuna himself. He was able to land multiple blows on him, with the latter not being able to do anything to guard against his powers. His physical attributes get boosted to a sky-high level using Genju Kohasaku. That’s certainly not all. He can also use sound blasts that are impossible to dodge and, more importantly, he can also utilize powerful attacks to vaporize anything that he touches. Even Sukuna could not defend himself from these attacks and ended up taking a decent amount of damage. The battle was completely in his favor, that is, until the very end, when Sukuna revealed his very own trump card.
Sukuna Returns To True Form
Realizing that he could not win against Kashimo as he was, Sukuna decided to unleash the biggest card that he had up his sleeve and that was the power of reincarnation. It was revealed by the narrator that Sukuna can return to his original body only once without evenutilizing Reverse Cursed Technique. He kept this as a last resort and, when he does this, his body is healed completely back to normal and he returns to his original form, which means that he is currently at full strength now. This major shock came at the end ofJJKchapter 237, and now, things don’t look all that great for Kashimo.
Previously, he was dominating the fight simply because his cursed technique was overpowered but, also because Sukuna himself was in a much weakened state. He could not use Domain Amplification, or even utilize skills such as Domain Expansion or Reverse Cursed Technique. Now, he is back to full strength. This means Sukuna will once again have access to Malevolent Shrine and heal as if nothing happened. Gojo certainly did a number on him and that was certainly evident in the previous chapter. However, now, it is as if everything has been reset, only Sukuna is much stronger now. Kashimo is most likely going to die in the upcoming chapter and fans should brace themselves for that.
