Jujutsu Kaisenis, undoubtedly, incredibly exciting at the moment, especially giventhe fight between Gojo and Sukunathat is currently going on. This fight has continued for a few months now and it has certainly lived up to all expectations and even surpassed them.

It has been an exhilarating experience for the fans and every week, fans are treated to some intense cliffhangers that keep them glued to their seats. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end and Gojo’s fight against Sukuna is no different. InJujutsu Kaisenchapter 235, this fight finally concluded and the result was an overwhelming and dominating performance by Gojo.
Agito’s Destruction
In the previous chapter ofJJK, fans saw Gojo being pushed on the back foot. Specifically, after Sukuna tapped into the power of Agitoand brought out Mahoraga once again, it was clear that Gojo was on the back foot. Fighting three people head-on at the same time was certainly not easy, especially when one of them was the King of Curses and another one was the strongest of all the shikigami. Gojo struggled against all these three fighters, losing even an arm in the process, however, a switch flipped in his head moments after his arm flew off and he completely took the battle by the scruff of its neck and showed absolute domination.
With just one arm, Gojo was able to destroy Agito in battle. He used Maximum Output: Blue and constricted the space around the beast to crush it after delivering a powerful blow to it. Agito was quickly taken out of the picture, and this was extremely important for Gojo, given that this beast possessed incredible healing abilities that Sukuna would surely take advantage of.JJKchapter 235 confirmed that Agito was completely out of the picture and was crushed by the Blue technique of Gojo.
Gojo Vs Mahoraga
Naturally, after the destruction of Agito, the next target for Gojo would be Mahoraga. Fans know that this shikigami has caused quite a lot of problems for Gojo in this fight. In fact, it has been one of the major reasons why Gojo has had to stay on the back foot throughout the entirety of the fight and avoid getting his moves adapted to him by the beast. However, inJujutsu Kaisenchapter 235, things went very differently for the strongest sorcerer of the modern era. Finally, he showed a very dominant performance against him andmanaged to overwhelm Mahoraga in combat.

Furthermore, Sukuna also joined in on some of the attacks, however, it appeared that Gojo was in the zone. This was especially highlighted by the fact that he was producing one Black Flash after another, signifying that he felt unstoppable at the moment. This, naturally, stressed Sukuna out and he could only worry about what Gojo would be doing next and try to counter that. Sukuna knew that Gojo would try using Red next and use the power of repulsion to defeat Mahoraga, and, by all means, his intuition was right. However, Sukuna did not think things through. This was another one of the moments where Gojo showed that he possessed superior battle intellect. He is a genius when it comes to battle andJJKchapter 235 was yet another proof of that.
Hollow Technique: Purple
Sukuna certainly was right when he guessed that Gojo would use red next. His plan to stop this was to send Mahoraga and attempt to get it to adapt to this power as well so he could take this card away from Gojo. However, things didn’t quite work out for Sukuna according to plan. Instead of firing the Red to defeat Mahoraga, Gojo had fired it in order to fuse the two infinities of Blue and Red. The Maximum Output: Blue that he had previously used was still lingering and this, when combined with the Cursed Technique Reversal: Red, gave rise to Hollow Technique: Purple. Fans know that Gojo’s Purple is among his strongest abilities and one that not even Sukuna can survive without taking a tremendous amount of damage.
As soon as Sukuna realized what Gojo was going for, it was evident that the battle was a lost one for him. His realization, unfortunately, came too late and, by this point, the two infinities had already fused and given rise to a powerful remote Purple,a completely new technique by Gojo.This purple ended up exploding right in the midst of all three fighters, dealing tremendous damage to all of them. Mahoraga was utterly destroyed. Meanwhile, Sukuna also took a lot of damage, barely being able to walk and having his left hand blown completely off. Meanwhile, Gojo himself had a good portion of his body blown off, however, he was able to heal it with the Reverse Cursed Technique.
Gojo Wins
At the end ofJJKchapter 235, it was quite clear that Gojo was the dominating force in this fight and thatSukuna could no longer continue.He had taken a tremendous amount of damage and his healing was incredibly slow at this point. He had lost Mahoraga and from here onwards, he cannot even tap into Domain Amplification, meaning that there is nothing he can do against Gojo anymore. On the flip side, Gojo was actually getting stronger, since landing the barrage of Black Flashes on his enemy meant that his Reverse Cursed Technique output was refilled once again. His slow healing was no longer an obstacle for him. Just moments after he blew his entire body using Purple, he was completely back to normal using his healing, which shows that it is not slow anymore. Gojo completely outclassed his enemy, be it in terms of strength, cursed energy control, battle intellect, or any other metric. This fight was utterly dominated by him from start to finish and that solidifies him as the strongest ever.
The only conclusion that one could come to after reading this chapter was that Gojo had won this battle and that is precisely what ended up being declared at the end of the chapter. From here onwards, it is difficult to predict what will happen inJujutsu Kaisen. Sukuna cannot continue this fight any longer. Even if he has a trump card at this point, he doesn’t have the tools to beat Gojo anymore. This would mean that the vast majority of the focus would turn to Kenjaku, who is, in many ways, the ultimate antagonist of the series. Fans are preparing themselves for even bigger fights now, however, it will be very difficult to follow up on this amazing fight between the two strongest in the entire story. That said, Gege has certainly surpassed expectations in the past and it is entirely possible for him to surpass them once again. Fans need to sit back and let this arc unfold as JJK heads closer to its end.
