But there are many other characters inImmortality, and some of them have achievements tied to discovering their fates as well.Please note that this article will have some SPOILERS forImmortality, so proceed with caution.
The first thing players will need to do is unlock theMinsky17A tape.Immortalityplayersare somewhat left at the mercy of the algorithm, but what they’ll want to do is match-cut main character Marissa Marcel or Carl Goodman, her co-star inMinsky. It’s also helpful to click on guns. In any case, once players findMinsky17A, they will want to watch it to its completion. Doing so will unlock the achievement What Happened to Carl Goodman, but this tape is also how players get the achievement for What Happened to Amy Archer.

Amy Archer is an actress featured inTwo of Everything, which was filmed decades afterMinsky, so one wouldn’t think that thisMinskytape would be the key to this achievement, but it is. After watchingMinsky17A to the end, rewind the tape using the frame back button, accomplished by pushing left on theXbox Series X controllerd-pad. This will cause the scene to change, with the lead actors swapped to different people. Let this scene play out until it ends, with the camera zoomed in on the man’s eye.
Immortality: How to Unlock What Happened to Amy Archer Achievement
From here, start rewinding the tape, once again using the frame back feature. Then push the tape forward using the frame forward feature until the controller starts vibrating. Now rewind again using frame back, and the scene should change. Watch this final scene play out, and theachievementshould pop.
There are similar achievements inImmortalitythat players can unlock for discovering the fates of other characters in the game. This includes director character John Durick, as well as Marissa Marcel herself. Figuring out what happened to Marissa Marcel is key to unlocking theImmortalityend credits, so it’s really the main goal of the game, but achievement hunters will want to go out of their way to discover the fates of the rest of the characters as well.
Immortalityis one of the more involvedFMV gamesthere is, and it has a whole list of achievements tasking players with discovering certain things or “collecting” items by clicking on them. What Happened to Amy Archer is one of the trickier achievements to unlock in the game, so getting it will get players well on their way to 100% completion.
