How to Get a Mount in Diablo 4
Theonly way to get a mount inDiablo 4is through a particular quest, and that isDonan’s Favor, which is added to the player’s list of things to doearly on in Act 4. Having gotten more than halfway through the main story, the game will finally make it possible forBarbarians, Sorcerers, Druids, Rogues, and Necromancersalike to get on horseback and gain more speed.
Unlocking this game-changing feature is a simple enough affair. Upon getting the quest, follow the instructions andget over to the Stables in town.Talk to the vendor Oskar, andthe mount option will now be unlocked. This will also conclude the quest for easy XP and Gold to spend.
Now, players cancall on the mount both in towns and outside, while dismounting will cause acooldown of 10 secondsto start before the mount can be summoned again.
To actually use a Mount inDiablo 4, console players can press the right D-pad button. PC players can press Z.
The Benefits of Using the Mount in Diablo 4

Speed Boost

This will prevent the mount from getting spooked by enemy attacks. If that unfortunately happens, the mount will disappear and trigger a cooldown before players can use it again.
Frost Dismount
While getting away from enemies or smashing them out of the way is fun, there is also another ability players should use if combat is what they seek. Instead of a regular dismount, players can use the second ability, which causes the mount tofreeze several enemies in a directionwhileallowing the player to dismount and start fighting.
This works on most enemy types, giving a great advantage for players to start dealing damage without worrying about counterattacks.
While it may seem more helpful if players were able to get a mount early on in the game to help with covering the large play areas, that is not the case inDiablo 4.Rather, there is an emphasis on making sure players explore every inch of the various territories they come across on foot to get the full experience both for combat andfinding interestingDiablo 4sights.
